Our Mission

is to advocate for and support abused and neglected children in the court system, while ensuring their right to safe, stable, permanent homes. CASA of Cecil County achieves this mission through the work of specially trained volunteers from the community who advocate for the best interest of children, recognizing and respecting each child’s individual needs.

CASA of Cecil County is one of the organizations in Maryland’s Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Program. CASA programs work to guarantee every victim of child abuse and neglect their right to grow up in safe and permanent homes. This mission is carried out through the efforts of professionally-trained volunteers, appointed by the judge, to speak up for the best interests of children who are under the protection of the courts. We hope you will join us on this mission! Whether you choose to become an advocate for a child, help with fundraising or public awareness activities, or make a financial investment in our work, we can always use your support!

CASA of Cecil County is a private, non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, incorporated in 2015 to facilitate the development and success of the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program that ensures every abused and neglected child in the county has a safe, permanent home.
