Cecil County Mentors History

CASA Court Appointed Special Advocate

CASA volunteers are appointed by the judge to be the "eyes and ears" of the court. Their responsibility is to present fact-based information in a court report that advocates for the best interest of the child.

CM was initially created this voluntary program to provide support for youth in kinship placements between the ages of 19-14. Our program has evolved, and we have expanded our program to serve all Cecil County children from ages 5 to 21.
