CASA of Cecil County has welcomed six new advocates to the organization. These individuals completed 30 hours of classroom training and two to three hours of court observation, the six volunteers officially will be able to help their assigned abused or neglected children in foster care. 

In a brief courtroom ceremony, Cecil County Circuit Court Judge Jane Cairns Murray recently swore in newly trained volunteers as Court Appointed Special Advocates.
